NO-PREP COMPOSITE BONDING VENEERS

Cosmetic dental bonding and Composite Veneers are procedures in which a tooth-colored resin is applied to the surface of a tooth and hardened using a special light. This process can be used to improve the appearance of teeth that are chipped, stained, or have gaps between them.

One of the main advantages of cosmetic bonding is that it is a fast and non-invasive procedure that can often be completed in a single office visit.

The material used in bonding is also strong and durable, and can last several years with proper care and maintenance. Another advantage is that it is a relatively affordable option compared to other cosmetic dentistry procedures. It can be used to change the shape, color, or length of teeth and can be used to close gaps or change the shape of a tooth. Overall, cosmetic dental bonding is a safe, effective, and convenient option for those looking to improve the appearance of their teeth and enhance their smile.

Cosmetic dental bonding is a hard skill that requires a high level of expertise and precision. Only an expert dentist with advanced training and experience can deliver the best results from both a cosmetic and technical standpoint. This procedure requires a great deal of attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

A skilled dentist will not only match the color and shape of the resin to the patient's natural teeth, but also make sure that the bond is strong and durable. They will be able to create a bond that is not only visually pleasing but also functional and able to withstand the forces of biting and chewing.

Expert dentists also know how to use the right technique to ensure that the bond is placed correctly and that the tooth is protected from any damage.

Therefore, it is important to seek out a highly trained and experienced cosmetic dentist when considering cosmetic dental bonding, to ensure that you receive the best possible results.

ULTRA THIN PORCELAIN VENEERS

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored material that are designed to cover the front surface of teeth. They are commonly used to improve the appearance of teeth that are stained, chipped, or have gaps between them. Porcelain veneers are made of a highly durable and natural-looking ceramic material that is resistant to staining and discoloration, making them a popular cosmetic dentistry option. The procedure to place veneers is typically done in two visits, where in the first visit the tooth is prepared and an impression of the tooth is taken, and in the second visit the veneer is bonded to the tooth.

One of the main benefits of porcelain veneers is that they can provide a dramatic improvement to the appearance of a person's smile in a relatively short amount of time. They can be used to change the shape, color, or length of teeth, and can be used to close gaps or change the shape of a tooth. They are also a conservative option, meaning that minimal tooth structure is removed in order to place the veneers. Additionally, porcelain veneers can last for many years with proper care and maintenance.

Not all porcelain veneers are the same from a cosmetic standpoint. The quality of the veneers and the skill of the dentist placing them can greatly affect the final outcome. Poorly made veneers can look unnatural and can be too thick, too opaque or have a mismatched color to the surrounding teeth. Additionally, some dentists may remove more tooth structure than necessary in order to place the veneers, which can weaken the tooth and lead to future dental problems.

It is important to choose an experienced and skilled cosmetic dentist who can create veneers that look natural and are customized to match your unique smile. A good cosmetic dentist will take into account the size, shape, and color of your existing teeth, as well as your facial features and skin tone, to ensure that the final result is a beautiful and natural-looking smile. They will also be able to minimize the tooth reduction required to place the veneers, preserving as much of the healthy tooth structure as possible. It is also important to make sure to choose high-quality veneers, which are made of a strong and durable ceramic material that is resistant to staining and discoloration.

INVISALIGN

Invisalign is a popular orthodontic treatment option that uses clear, custom-made aligners to straighten teeth. There are several advantages of using Invisalign over traditional metal braces:

  1. Aesthetics: Invisalign aligners are made of clear plastic, making them virtually invisible when worn. This allows individuals to straighten their teeth without the visibility of metal braces.

  2. Comfort: Invisalign aligners are made of a smooth plastic material that is custom-fitted to the patient's teeth, making them more comfortable to wear than traditional metal braces.

  3. Removable: Invisalign aligners are removable, which allows individuals to eat and brush their teeth normally, unlike traditional braces which have restrictions.

  4. Customized treatment: Invisalign aligners are custom-made for each patient, ensuring a tailored treatment plan that is specific to their needs.

  5. Timing: Invisalign treatment typically takes less time than traditional braces, with an average treatment time of 12-18 months.

  6. Predictability: With Invisalign's advanced technology, the treatment plan can be digitally mapped out, allowing for accurate predictions of the final outcome.

Porcelain crowns and bridges are a popular and effective way to restore damaged or missing teeth. There are several advantages of using porcelain crowns and bridges:

  1. Aesthetics: Porcelain crowns and bridges are made of a natural-looking ceramic material that closely mimics the color, translucency, and texture of natural teeth.

  2. Durability: Porcelain crowns and bridges are strong and durable, and can withstand the forces of biting and chewing. They can last for several years with proper care and maintenance.

  3. Customized treatment: Each porcelain crown and bridge is custom-made to match the shape, size, and color of the patient's natural teeth, ensuring a natural-looking and comfortable fit.

  4. Versatility: Porcelain crowns and bridges can be used to restore a single tooth or multiple teeth. They can also be used in combination with other restorative treatments such as dental implants.

  5. Protection: Porcelain crowns and bridges can protect and strengthen a damaged or weakened tooth, preventing further damage and potential tooth loss.

  6. Predictability: With modern technology and techniques, the treatment plan can be digitally mapped out, allowing for accurate predictions of the final outcome.

Overall, porcelain crowns and bridges offer a natural-looking, strong and durable solution for restoring damaged or missing teeth, making it a popular choice among patients looking for restorative dentistry.

KöR TEETH WHITENING

1- WHY DOES KöR WHITENING WORK SO WELL?

The KöR Whitening System works by restoring your teeth’s youthful ability to absorb oxygen. The oxygen from the whitening gel is absorbed deeply into the tooth, dissolving and removing stain molecules.

How long does KöR Whitening last?

Unlike other whitening methods, with easy periodic home maintenance, KöR Whitening is entirely permanent.

2- IS IT SAFE?

Whitening products have been clinically studied for more than three decades and safely used on millions of patients without harm to teeth or gums. KöR Whitening is considered entirely safe.

3- IS THERE PAIN OR DISCOMFORT WITH KöR WHITENING?

After years of research, development and clinical testing, the KöR gel was developed that, in most cases, produces little to no sensitivity. As a result, most patients have no discomfort from whitening when using this system.  We have found KöR Whitening to be the gentlest whitening system available.

4- DOES IT MATTER HOW OLD I AM?

Teeth are safely whitened at any age, however, the ideal age to whiten teeth is about 14 because the permanent teeth are usually all fully erupted in the mouth by that age. The younger teeth are, the more brilliantly they whiten. However, KöR Whitening rejuvenates even older teeth back to their youthful ability to whiten incredibly well, even if you’re 90 years old.

5- HOW WHITE WILL MY TEETH GET?

KöR Whitening lightens teeth dramatically, up to 16 shades or more. Although everyone is different, with the proper KöR Whitening System, nearly all teeth will have stunning results. KöR even whitens tetracycline-stained teeth significantly, which was previously thought to be impossible!

6- WILL MY TEETH LOOK TOO WHITE AND UNNATURAL?

No. Real teeth can’t look unnatural, they just look beautifully white. If you have seen people with ultra-white, fake-looking teeth, these were probably false teeth, teeth with porcelain crowns, or porcelain veneers that may have been made too white and too opaque. With KöR Whitening you’ll get the ideal shade that’s right for you.

7- WILL MY CROWNS, VENEERS AND FILLINGS WHITEN TOO?

No. If you have any of these on your front teeth, you may need to replace some of them after whitening.

8- HOW WILL COFFEE, TEA, SMOKING AND RED WINE AFFECT THE RESULT OF THE WHITENING?

With your easy home maintenance, these staining foods will have no effect on the long-term brilliant color of your teeth.

9- WILL THE WHITENING TRAYS BE UNCONFORTABLE, DIFFICULT TO SLEEP WITH AND LEAK THE GEL FROM THE TRAYS?

KöR-Seal whitening trays are very different. They’re comfortable – because they’re thin and form-fitting, you’ll probably forget they’re even in your mouth. They’re convenient –  by wearing these only while you sleep, it doesn’t interfere with your busy day. Also, unlike regular whitening trays, KöR-Seal whitening trays seal the whitening gel inside the tray, preventing the gel from quickly leaking into your mouth.

10- HOW DOES THE KöR WHITENING SYSTEM WORK?

Molds of your teeth will be made to fabricate your own set of unique, ultra-comfortable KöR-Seal whitening trays. You and Dr. Pessoa will select which level of KöR Whitening is the proper fit for you. Most patients wear their KöR-Seal Whitening Trays at home for two weeks while they sleep. Depending on your selections, you may have one or two simple whitening visits in the dental office.
